PALEMO HOLDINGS CO.,LTD. <2778> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on December 27th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2025 (March to November) significantly dropped 62.7% from the same period last year to 144 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 305 million yen was 47.2%, also falling below the five-year average of 96.0%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the December to February period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 161 million yen (compared to a loss of 50 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from September to November (3Q), the consolidated ordinary loss expanded to a loss of 105 million yen (compared to a loss of 51 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin worsened from -1.5% in the same period last year to -1.9%.
