YOMEISHU SEIZO CO.,LTD. <2540> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 30th (15:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) decreased by 24.3% from the same period last year to 317 million yen. The progress rate against the 770 million yen full-year plan was 41.2%, also falling below the five-year average of 53.8%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease by 14.5% from the same period last year to 453 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of profit of 61 million yen (compared to a loss of 23 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin significantly improved from -1.7% in the same period last year to 1.9%.
