Earnings ReportKakaku.com,Inc. <2371> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) at noon (11:40) on November 5th. The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) was 9.36 billion yen, a 2.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 19.0 billion yen was 49.3%, which was higher than the five-year average of 43.9%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 7.8% from the same period last year to 9.63 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 4.34 billion yen, an 8.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 37.8% in the same period last year to 28.5%.
