YAKULT HONSHA CO.,LTD. <2267> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 14th (14:20). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) was 68.7 billion yen, a 0.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 81.5 billion yen was 84.4%, below the five-year average of 88.2%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to grow 23.5% from the same period last year, reaching 12.7 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 23.4 billion yen, a 12.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 15.3% in the same period last year to 12.9%.
