Showa Sangyo Co., Ltd. <2004> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on August 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) decreased 15.4% from the same period last year to 4.39 billion yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 13.0 billion yen was 33.8%, almost the same as the five-year average of 29.2%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin worsened from 4.8% in the same period last year to 4.2%.
