MEIKO CONSTRUCTION, Last Fiscal Year Ordinary Profit Revised Upward to an Unexpected 19% Increase, Dividend Revised Upward by 6 yen

MEIKO CONSTRUCTION CO.,LTD. <1869> [NSE Main] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on April 25th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 28.0%, from the previous forecast of 5.4 billion yen to 6.91 billion yen (compared to 5.82 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a 18.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.

Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 63.6%, from the previous forecast of 2.37 billion yen to 3.88 billion yen (compared to 3.56 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 9.0% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.

In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 36 yen to 42 yen (compared to 36 yen in the previous period).
