ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 190.67 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 118.27 yen, IBIDEN <4062> was at 45.93 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 28.49 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 24.74 yen.
The top positive contributor was TDK <6762>, pushing up The Nikkei by 94.53 yen. This was followed by TAIYO YUDEN <6976> at 63.36 yen, Murata Manufacturing <6981> at 57.77 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 45.05 yen, KYOCERA <6971> at 38.08 yen.
By industry, 10 of the 33 industries gained. Metal Products Sector ranked first, followed by Pulp & Paper Sector, Retail Trade Sector, and Marine Transportation Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Insurance Sector, and Electric Power & Gas Sector were among the top losers.
