On the 26th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 162.10 yen (-0.25%) lower from the previous day to 64,996.09 yen, falling for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 697, lost was 814, and unchanged was 52.
ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 405.48 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 76.43 yen, Kioxia <285A> was at 70.16 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was at 53.4 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 44.75 yen.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 620.29 yen. This was followed by FAST RETAILING <9983> at 33.79 yen, TAIYO YUDEN <6976> at 28.16 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> at 13.68 yen, Murata Manufacturing <6981> at 11.99 yen.
By industry, 13 of the 33 industries gained. Information & Communication Sector ranked first, followed by Construction Sector, Real Estate Sector, and Electric Power & Gas Sector. Pharmaceuticals Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Wholesale Trade Sector were among the top losers.
