SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 235.73 yen to The Nikkei. Below, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 61.14 yen, IBIDEN <4062> was at 57.66 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> was at 38.72 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was at 19.61 yen.
The top positive contributor was Tokyo Electron <8035>, pushing up The Nikkei by 73.41 yen. This was followed by FANUC <6954> at 70.40 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> at 41.03 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> at 34.90 yen, Kioxia <285A> at 25.34 yen.
By industry, 9 of the 33 industries gained. Metal Products Sector ranked first, followed by Services Sector, Other Products Sector, and Electric Appliances Sector. Banks Sector, Securities & Commodities Futures Sector, and Marine Transportation Sector were among the top losers.
