The top positive contributor was Tokyo Electron <8035>, pushing up The Nikkei by 307.73 yen. This was followed by SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 164.93 yen, TOYOTA TSUSHO <8015> at 77.13 yen, SUMITOMO <8053> at 33.52 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> at 29.83 yen.

ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 107.4 yen to The Nikkei. Below, TDK <6762> was at 57.83 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 56.32 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 32.78 yen, Kioxia <285A> was at 26.99 yen.

By industry, 12 of the 33 industries gained. Air Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Wholesale Trade Sector, Land Transportation Sector, and Information & Communication Sector.
