The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1290, lost was 244, and unchanged was 34. The percentage of rising stocks exceeded 80%.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 463.41 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 422.38 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 196.1 yen, NITTO DENKO <6988> was at 50.12 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 49.45 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 104.59 yen. This was followed by CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 49.78 yen, KDDI <9433> at 24.74 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 22.12 yen, Kioxia <285A> at 19.95 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries gained, with only 3 industries, Information & Communication Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, and Air Transportation Sector, lost. Other Financial Business Sector ranked as a top gainer, followed by Construction Sector, Mining Sector, Banks Sector, Electric Power & Gas Sector, and Marine Transportation Sector.
