Acom beats initial guidance for FY2026
ACOM CO.,LTD. <8572> announced after the close of trading that day that its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026, currently being compiled, are expected to exceed initial guidance. Operating revenue is projected to reach \337.7 billion (up 6.3% year-on-year) versus the previous forecast of \331.8 billion, operating profit \100.3 billion (up 71.3%) versus \88.6 billion, and net profit \79.6 billion (2.5 times the previous year) versus \72.2 billion.
The upward revision was driven by interest income on operating loans exceeding projections and the impact of the weaker yen, which boosted revenue. Additionally, bad debt-related expenses, interest refund costs, and other operating expenses coming in below plan contributed to the profit increase. In line with the improved earnings, ACOM raised its year-end dividend forecast from \10 to \12 per share, bringing the full-year dividend forecast to \22 (compared to \14 in the previous fiscal year).
