KUSHIKATSU TANAKA Extends Gains for Sixth Consecutive Day as March Same-Store Sales Rise for 17th Straight Month
UNISIA HOLDINGS <3547>, operator of the "Kushikatsu Tanaka" restaurant chain, extended its gains for the sixth consecutive day. After the market close on the 7th, the company reported that same-store sales at directly operated locations rose 16.1% year-on-year in March, marking the 17th consecutive month of growth ? a result that was well received by investors.
The "Unlimited Skewer Series" proved a major hit, with cumulative sales surpassing 20 million skewers, driving customer traffic up 14.6% year-on-year. Total sales across all stores rose 30.4% year-on-year.
