HODEN SEIMITSU KAKO KENKYUSHO's FY Feb 2026 Swings to Net Profit Growth, Raises Dividend Forecast by \3
HODEN SEIMITSU KAKO KENKYUSHO CO.,LTD. <6469> announced after the close of trading on the 3rd that its consolidated results for the fiscal year ending February 2026 are expected to show sales of \14.312 billion (up 11.0% year-on-year), \210 million above the initial plan, and net profit of \823 million (up 41.2% year-on-year), \395 million above the forecast. Net profit is now expected to increase, reversing the initial projection of a decline. The company revised its year-end dividend forecast upward by \3 to \18 per share (compared to \12 in the previous fiscal year).
Both the Mold segment and the Electrical Discharge Machining and Surface Treatment segment are expected to post revenue growth. Profits exceeded expectations due to the effects of productivity improvement initiatives, postponement of repair plans, and unfilled hiring plans.
