BOJ exchange rates at 5 p.m.: yen strengthens to \158.79-80 per dollar
The Bank of Japan's foreign exchange rates as of 5 p.m. on the 1st showed the dollar at \158.79-80, up 83 sen from the previous day in yen terms. The euro was at \183.90-94 against the yen, down 78 sen in yen terms, and at $1.1581-82 against the dollar, up $0.0109 in euro terms.
