On the 12th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 572.41 yen (-1.04%) lower from the previous day to 54,452.96 yen, falling for the first time in third days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 103, lost was 1472, and unchanged was 14. It was a completely discounted deal with more than 90% of stocks falling in price.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 112.31 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 102.95 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 78.22 yen, KYOCERA <6971> was at 19.25 yen, TOYOTA TSUSHO <8015> was at 18.85 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 131.56 yen. This was followed by Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 41.95 yen, TDK <6762> at 8.52 yen, Nintendo <7974> at 7.29 yen, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries <7011> at 5.52 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries lost, with only 3 industries Mining Sector, Other Products Sector, and Electric Power & Gas Sector, gained. Real Estate Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Other Financial Business Sector, Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector, Textiles & Apparels Sector, Securities & Commodities Futures Sector, and Construction Sector.
