Nikkei 225 close on the 5th = rebound for the first time in 4 days, 1,032 yen higher to 55,278 yen
On the 5th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 1,032.52 yen (1.90%) higher from the previous day to 55,278.06 yen, rebound for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1423, lost was 154, and unchanged was 13. The percentage of rising stocks exceeded 80%.
The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 276.76 yen. This was followed by SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 126.75 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 103.29 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 48.80 yen, TDK <6762> at 44.87 yen.
Nitori <9843> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 8.77 yen to The Nikkei. Below, TOYOTA MOTOR <7203> was at 6.52 yen, NEXON <3659> was at 5.95 yen, Nintendo <7974> was at 4.18 yen, Kao <4452> was at 4.11 yen.
By industry, 27 of the 33 industries gained. Mining Sector ranked first, followed by Oil & Coal Products Sector, Banks Sector, and Insurance Sector. Air Transportation Sector, Other Products Sector, and Food Products Sector were among the top losers.
