The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 755.42 yen. This was followed by FAST RETAILING <9983> at 348.96 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 202.16 yen, TDK <6762> at 54.15 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 51.94 yen.
KDDI <9433> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 103.49 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 43.12 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 14.71 yen, HONDA MOTOR <7267> was at 11.43 yen, SUBARU <7270> was at 9.96 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries gained, with only 3 industries, Transportation Equipment Sector, Marine Transportation Sector, and Iron & Steel Sector, lost. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked as a top gainer, followed by Real Estate Sector, Machinery Sector, Construction Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, and Precision Instruments Sector.
