On the 26th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 961.62 yen (-1.79%) lower from the previous weekend to 52,885.25 yen, falling for the first time in third days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 153, lost was 1420, and unchanged was 23. The percentage of declining stocks exceeded 80%.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 167.66 yen to The Nikkei. Below, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 80.22 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 63.17 yen, TDK <6762> was at 40.61 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> was at 30.42 yen.
The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 12.03 yen. This was followed by Nitori <9843> at 10.74 yen, Mercari <4385> at 7.35 yen, KONAMI <9766> at 6.52 yen, Otsuka <4578> at 3.98 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries lost, with only 3 industries Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector, Mining Sector, and Land Transportation Sector, gained. Transportation Equipment Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Banks Sector, Wholesale Trade Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, Metal Products Sector, and Insurance Sector.
