ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 73.54 yen to The Nikkei. Below, FANUC <6954> was at 61.34 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 58.16 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 49.74 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 39.78 yen.
The top positive contributor was TERUMO <4543>, pushing up The Nikkei by 7.22 yen. This was followed by DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> at 5.68 yen, Astellas Pharma <4503> at 2.67 yen, Shionogi <4507> at 2.21 yen, DENTSU <4324> at 1.40 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries lost, with only 3 industries Air Transportation Sector, Pulp & Paper Sector, and Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector, gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Securities & Commodities Futures Sector, Mining Sector, Banks Sector, Wholesale Trade Sector, and Other Financial Business Sector.
