On the 10th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 52.30 yen (-0.10%) lower from the previous day to 50,602.80 yen, falling for the first time in third days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 991, lost was 560, and unchanged was 53. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
Tokyo Electron <8035> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 47.13 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 28.08 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 28.08 yen, SONY <6758> was at 20.72 yen, Lasertec <6920> was at 18.58 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 32.89 yen. This was followed by HONDA MOTOR <7267> at 10.13 yen, Astellas Pharma <4503> at 9.02 yen, TOYOTA MOTOR <7203> at 8.36 yen, DENSO <6902> at 7.02 yen.
By industry, 22 of the 33 industries gained. Securities & Commodities Futures Sector ranked first, followed by Electric Power & Gas Sector, Rubber Products Sector, and Transportation Equipment Sector. Other Products Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, and Machinery Sector were among the top losers.
