On the 14th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 905.30 yen (-1.77%) lower from the previous day to 50,376.53 yen, falling for the first time in third days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 617, lost was 936, and unchanged was 56. The number of declining stocks significantly exceeded the number of rising stocks.

ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 304.84 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 278.77 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 206.57 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 44.29 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 41.72 yen.

The top positive contributor was KYOCERA <6971>, pushing up The Nikkei by 10.43 yen. This was followed by Nitori <9843> at 9.28 yen, KDDI <9433> at 9.23 yen, TOPPAN Holdings <7911> at 8.71 yen, M3 Inc <2413> at 8.66 yen.

By industry, 18 of the 33 industries gained. Mining Sector ranked first, followed by Textiles & Apparels Sector, Real Estate Sector, and Oil & Coal Products Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, and Machinery Sector were among the top losers.
