The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 321.22 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 300.34 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 103.44 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 48.15 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 35.35 yen.
Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 30.3 yen to The Nikkei. Below, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was at 14.95 yen, RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453> was at 4.58 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 2.53 yen, YASKAWA Electric <6506> was at 1.31 yen.
By industry, all 33 industries were gainers. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Precision Instruments Sector, Securities & Commodities Futures Sector, Information & Communication Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Electric Appliances Sector.
