On the 24th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 658.04 yen (1.35%) higher from the previous day to 49,299.65 yen, rebound for the first time in third days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 674, lost was 879, and unchanged was 58.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 259.60 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 165.66 yen, TDK <6762> at 60.35 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 54.55 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 22.90 yen.
CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 22.12 yen to The Nikkei. Below, TERUMO <4543> was at 8.08 yen, Nintendo <7974> was at 7.07 yen, DAIICHI SANKYO <4568> was at 5.25 yen, NIDEC <6594> was at 4.88 yen.
By industry, 16 of the 33 industries gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Mining Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, and Glass & Ceramics Products Sector. Real Estate Sector, Other Products Sector, and Other Financial Business Sector were among the top losers.
