On the 14th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 1,241.48 yen (-2.58%) lower from the previous weekend to 46,847.32 yen. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 264, lost was 1323, and unchanged was 24. The percentage of declining stocks exceeded 80%.

SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 275.76 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 224.92 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 84.85 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was at 48.38 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 45.46 yen.

The top positive contributor was RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453>, pushing up The Nikkei by 25.19 yen. This was followed by KDDI <9433> at 6.06 yen, 7&i <3382> at 5.10 yen, AEON <8267> at 4.90 yen, Ajinomoto <2802> at 1.41 yen.

By industry, 4 of the 33 industries gained. Marine Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Retail Trade Sector, Iron & Steel Sector, and Food Products Sector. Electric Appliances Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Securities & Commodities Futures Sector were among the top losers.
