The top positive contributor was RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453>, pushing up The Nikkei by 25.19 yen. This was followed by KDDI <9433> at 6.06 yen, 7&i <3382> at 5.10 yen, AEON <8267> at 4.90 yen, Ajinomoto <2802> at 1.41 yen.
By industry, 4 of the 33 industries gained. Marine Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Retail Trade Sector, Iron & Steel Sector, and Food Products Sector. Electric Appliances Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Securities & Commodities Futures Sector were among the top losers.
