Nikkei 225 close on the 6th = rising for the 3 days in a row, 2,175 yen higher to 47,944 yen
On the 6th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 2,175.26 yen (4.75%) higher from the previous weekend to 47,944.76 yen, rising for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1465, lost was 119, and unchanged was 29. Commerce was high across the board, with over 90% of rising stocks.
The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 592.60 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 210.10 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 181.82 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 165.66 yen, SONY <6758> at 48.15 yen.
Nitori <9843> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 2.69 yen to The Nikkei. Below, RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453> was at 0.98 yen, Shizuoka Financial <5831> was at 0.96 yen, Concordia Financial <7186> was at 0.62 yen, Japan Airlines <9201> was at 0.47 yen.
By industry, 31 of the 33 industries gained, with only two industries, Air Transportation Sector and Banks Sector, lost. Electric Appliances Sector ranked as a top gainer, followed by Machinery Sector, Real Estate Sector, Precision Instruments Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Construction Sector.
