The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 216.77 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 66.35 yen, Nintendo <7974> at 13.67 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 10.80 yen, KDDI <9433> at 9.12 yen.
FAST RETAILING <9983> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 73.74 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 25.66 yen, TDK <6762> was at 24.82 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 20.56 yen, NITTO DENKO <6988> was at 14.86 yen.
By industry, 18 of the 33 industries gained. Mining Sector ranked first, followed by Other Products Sector, Machinery Sector, and Nonferrous Metals Sector. Glass & Ceramics Products Sector, Services Sector, and Rubber Products Sector were among the top losers.
