The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 201.58 yen. This was followed by FAST RETAILING <9983> at 151.54 yen, SONY <6758> at 37.48 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 25.32 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> at 22.96 yen.
DENTSU <4324> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 13.56 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Credit Saison <8253> was at 13.13 yen, TDK <6762> was at 6.84 yen, Trend Micro <4704> was at 4.25 yen, OLYMPUS <7733> was at 2.9 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries gained, with only 3 industries, Metal Products Sector, Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector, and Warehousing & Harbor Transportation Service Sector, lost. Banks Sector ranked as a top gainer, followed by Nonferrous Metals Sector, Insurance Sector, Electric Power & Gas Sector, Other Financial Business Sector, and Oil & Coal Products Sector.
