Nikkei 225 close on the 31st = rebound for the first time in 5 days, 415 yen higher to 41,069 yen
On the 31st, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 415.12 yen (1.02%) higher from the previous day to 41,069.82 yen, rebound for the first time in fifth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1272, lost was 302, and unchanged was 46. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 62.80 yen. This was followed by KYOCERA <6971> at 42.41 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> at 28.36 yen, TDK <6762> at 25.07 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 21.58 yen.
TOYOTA MOTOR <7203> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 7.93 yen to The Nikkei. Below, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 7.6 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was at 4.66 yen, HONDA MOTOR <7267> was at 4.15 yen, Takeda Pharma <4502> was at 3.24 yen.
By industry, 27 of the 33 industries gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Insurance Sector, Glass & Ceramics Products Sector, and Air Transportation Sector. Metal Products Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Iron & Steel Sector were among the top losers.
