On the 14th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 110.06 yen (-0.28%) lower from the previous weekend to 39,459.62 yen, falling for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 905, lost was 648, and unchanged was 70. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 66.85 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 52.17 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 12.16 yen, NEXON <3659> was at 8.07 yen, Lasertec <6920> was at 8.04 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 51.86 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 51.32 yen, DAIICHI SANKYO <4568> at 8.10 yen, HOYA <7741> at 5.57 yen, Astellas Pharma <4503> at 5.57 yen.
By industry, 19 of the 33 industries gained. Electric Power & Gas Sector ranked first, followed by Machinery Sector, Real Estate Sector, and Transportation Equipment Sector. Other Products Sector, Information & Communication Sector, and Air Transportation Sector were among the top losers.
