ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 132.52 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 102.98 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 91.8 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 53.19 yen, TDK <6762> was at 46.4 yen.
The top positive contributor was KDDI <9433>, pushing up The Nikkei by 42.71 yen. This was followed by TERUMO <4543> at 23.42 yen, SECOM <9735> at 14.30 yen, Nitori <9843> at 12.97 yen, Shionogi <4507> at 6.74 yen.
By industry, 30 of the 33 industries lost, with only 3 industries Land Transportation Sector, Food Products Sector, and Real Estate Sector, gained. Banks Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Nonferrous Metals Sector, Oil & Coal Products Sector, Insurance Sector, Mining Sector, and Securities & Commodities Futures Sector.
