On the 14th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 263.07 yen (0.72%) higher from the previous day to 37,053.10 yen. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 958, lost was 598, and unchanged was 79. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.

The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 109.17 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 15.78 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 15.78 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 15.22 yen, FANUC <6954> at 13.65 yen.

Recruit Holdings <6098> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 22.69 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Nitori <9843> was at 8.96 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 5.1 yen, KDDI <9433> was at 4.34 yen, 7&i <3382> was at 3.85 yen.
