Nikkei 225 close on the 10th = rebound, 14 yen higher to 38,801 yen

On the 10th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 14.15 yen (0.04%) higher from the previous weekend to 38,801.17 yen. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 812, lost was 776, and unchanged was 49.

The top positive contributor was TAIYO YUDEN <6976>, pushing up The Nikkei by 16.44 yen. This was followed by TDK <6762> at 16.28 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 14.63 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 14.47 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 13.32 yen.

FAST RETAILING <9983> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 51.49 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 36.89 yen, DAIICHI SANKYO <4568> was at 10.55 yen, TERUMO <4543> was at 9.6 yen, SONY <6758> was at 8.88 yen.

By industry, 18 of the 33 industries gained. Pulp & Paper Sector ranked first, followed by Mining Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Oil & Coal Products Sector. Wholesale Trade Sector, Textiles & Apparels Sector, and Real Estate Sector were among the top losers.
