The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 27.36 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 17.26 yen, SUZUKI MOTOR <7269> at 12.17 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 9.67 yen, HONDA MOTOR <7267> at 8.58 yen.
By industry, 5 of the 33 industries gained. Mining Sector ranked first, followed by Marine Transportation Sector, Oil & Coal Products Sector, and Banks Sector. Transportation Equipment Sector, Retail Trade Sector, and Services Sector were among the top losers.
