FAST RETAILING <9983> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 27.52 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 25.06 yen, TDK <6762> was at 21.7 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 18.25 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 17.1 yen.
The top positive contributor was HONDA MOTOR <7267>, pushing up The Nikkei by 30.78 yen. This was followed by Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 10.03 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 3.75 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 3.45 yen, SUBARU <7270> at 2.24 yen.
By industry, 18 of the 33 industries gained. Marine Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Electric Power & Gas Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Iron & Steel Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Services Sector, and Information & Communication Sector were among the top losers.
