However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 11.0 billion yen was 70.0%, also falling below the five-year average of 79.5%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the May to July period (4Q) is expected to expand 30.7% from the same period last year, reaching 3.30 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from February to April (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 1.99 billion yen, a 22.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 5.5% in the same period last year to 4.0%.
