Earnings ReportYOKOREI CO.,LTD. <2874> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 15th (13:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2026 (October 2025 to March 2026) expanded 4.30 billion yen, an increase 65.3% compared to the same period last year, resulting in an increase in profits compared to the previous forecast of a 9.8% decrease.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 39.1%, from the previous forecast of 4.60 billion yen to 6.40 billion yen (compared to 3.65 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 25.8% to 75.0%, reaches new record high for the first time in nine terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to September period (second half) is expected to expand 98.9% from the same period last year, reaching 2.09 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 24 yen to 27 yen (compared to 24 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 26.5% from the same period last year, reaching 2.21 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 4.1% in the same period last year to 6.2%.
