Earnings ReportOSAKA YUKA INDUSTRY LTD. <4124> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 14th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2026 (October 2025 to March 2026) expanded 150 million yen, an increase 31.6% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 140 million yen is 107.1%, already exceeding the target and also exceeding the five-year average (Excluding loss-making periods) of 58.2%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the April to September period (second half) is expected to turn into a loss of 10 million yen (compared to a profit of 24 million yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 4.8 times that of the same period last year, reaching 100 million yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 9.2% in the same period last year to 23.3%.
