Earnings ReportBuySell Technologies Co.,Ltd. <7685> [TSE Growth] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 14th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026 (January to March) surged 2.2 times that of the same period last year, reaching 5.04 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 26.7%, from the previous forecast of 12.0 billion yen to 15.2 billion yen (compared to 8.48 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 41.4% to 79.1%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for three consecutive terms.
At the same time, the January to June period (first half) consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 32.8%, from the previous forecast of 6.70 billion yen to 8.90 billion yen (compared to 4.54 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 47.5% to 95.9%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 17.5 yen to 22 yen (compared to 25 yen before the 2-for-1 forward stock split in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (1Q), the operating profit margin jumped from 10.4% in the same period last year to 16.0%.
