Earnings ReportNAGAOKA INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION <6239> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 12th (17:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July 2025 to March 2026) significantly dropped 54.8% from the same period last year to 0.34 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 61.2%, from the previous forecast of 1.70 billion yen to 0.66 billion yen (compared to 1.50 billion yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 56.3% decrease in profit.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the downward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to June period (second half) has decreased 66.7%, from the previous forecast of 1.55 billion yen to 0.51 billion yen (compared to 0.99 billion yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 47.9% decrease in profit.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.20 billion yen, a 17.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 15.5% in the same period last year to 9.2%.
