Earnings ReportDAIICHI SANKYO COMPANY, LIMITED <4568> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on May 11th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 decreased by 12.1% from the previous period to 259 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated net income is nearly flat with a slight increase of 0.05% to 260 billion yen. This will be the sixth consecutive term of revenue growth.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 100 yen, an increase of 22 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 42.4 billion yen, a 51.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 16.1% in the same period last year to -0.8%.
