SoftBank Corp, 2% Increase in Net Income, Update Record High for Second Consecutive Term, Dividend Raised by 0.2 Yen

Earnings ReportSoftBank Corp. <9434> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on May 11th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 increased by 4.7% from the previous period to 550 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated net income is expected to grow by 1.7% to 560 billion yen, marking the second consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the third consecutive term of profit growth.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 8.8 yen, an increase of 0.2 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 65.2 billion yen, a 27.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 9.6% in the same period last year to 8.6%.
