Earnings ReportNEC Corporation <6701> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on April 28th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 expanded to 54.3% from the previous period to 0.27 trillion yen. This marks the third consecutive term of profit growth. Furthermore, the company projects revenue of 3.50 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending March 2027.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 32 yen to 38 yen (compared to 140 yen before the 5-for-1 forward stock split in the previous term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 40 yen, an increase of 2 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income grew 23.5% from the same period last year, reaching 0.12 trillion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 11.8% in the same period last year to 15.1%.
