TOSHIBA TEC, Ordinary Profit Forecast for Last Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 31%

Guidance Update ReportTOSHIBA TEC CORPORATION <6588> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision after the market closed on April 27th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 31.3%, from the previous forecast of 8.00 billion yen to 10.5 billion yen (compared to 18.3 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 56.4% to 42.8%. However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income/loss has been revised downward from an expected break even to a loss of 2.30 billion yen (compared to a profit of 29.9 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a loss outlook.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 21.9%, from the previous forecast of 11.4 billion yen to 13.9 billion yen (compared to 9.83 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 16.2% to 41.7%.
