Earnings ReportCOSMOS Pharmaceutical Corporation <3349> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 13th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2026 (June 2025 to February 2026) was 33.8 billion yen, a 0.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 43.2 billion yen was 78.4%, also surpassing the five-year average of 75.7%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the March to May period (4Q) is expected to nearly flat at 9.33 billion yen, down 0.6% from the same period last year.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit amounted to 11.9 billion yen, a 0.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 4.6% in the same period last year to 4.2%.
