The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2026 (June 2025 to February 2026) expanded 1.68 billion yen, an increase 97.7% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 1.80 billion yen was 93.7%, also surpassing the five-year average of 70.9%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the March to May period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 80.9% from the same period last year to 0.11 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 70.0% from the same period last year, reaching 0.49 billion yen. However, the operating profit margin worsened from 4.7% in the same period last year to 4.1%.
