NOMURA CORPORATION <7131> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on March 13th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending October 2026 (November 2025 to January 2026) expanded 231 million yen, an increase 76.3% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the plan for the six months ending April (first half) of 462 million yen was 50.0%, also surpassing the four-year average of 31.5%.

In the most recent three-month period, from November to January (1Q), the operating profit margin significantly improved from 8.4% in the same period last year to 13.2%.
