Guidance Update ReportNAGAWA Co .,Ltd. <9663> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision in the afternoon session on February 16th (13:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has decreased 12.3%, from the previous forecast of 5.70 billion yen to 5.00 billion yen (compared to 4.80 billion yen in the previous period), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 18.7% to 4.1%. However, the full-year forecast for net income has been revised upward 12.5%, from the previous forecast of 4.00 billion yen to 4.50 billion yen (compared to 4.21 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach two consecutive terms, turning to a 6.8% increase in the net income outlook.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) ordinary profit has decreased 20.2%, from the previous forecast of 3.46 billion yen to 2.76 billion yen (compared to 2.66 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 30.2% to 3.9%.
