Earnings ReportKIMURA KOHKI Co.,Ltd. <6231> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 13th (16:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) expanded 3.30 billion yen, an increase 34.6% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for ordinary profit has been revised upward 14.7%, from the previous forecast of 3.75 billion yen to 4.30 billion yen (compared to 3.66 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 2.5% to 17.5%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for three consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) has been revised upward 32.5%, from the previous forecast of 1.69 billion yen to 2.24 billion yen (compared to 2.27 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 25.6% to 1.4%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 140 yen to 180 yen (compared to 120 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit grew 16.5% from the same period last year, reaching 1.24 billion yen. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 24.6% in the same period last year to 24.7%.
