Earnings ReportTAKARA BIO INC. <4974> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 13th (15:30). The consolidated net loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) expanded to a loss of 9.61 billion yen (compared to a loss of 1.37 billion yen in the same period last year).
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 74.4% from the same period last year to 0.61 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net loss expanded to a loss of 2.70 billion yen (compared to a loss of 1.89 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from -19.8% in the same period last year to -26.2%.
